Dr. Ann H. Partridge, MD, MPH, is a leading breast medical oncologist and internationally recognized expert in the care of young women with breast cancer. She serves as Interim Chair of the Department of Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Founder and Director of the Program for Young Women with Breast Cancer, and Director of the Adult Survivorship Program. She holds the Eric P. Winer Chair in Breast Cancer Research and is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Partridge earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, completed her internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and her hematology/oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. She also earned a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Partridge’s research focuses on optimizing care and outcomes for young women with breast cancer, addressing survivorship issues, and improving quality of life through patient-centered interventions. She has led landmark studies on treatment adherence, fertility preservation, and psychosocial impacts, and has played a pivotal role in shaping national and international guidelines for breast cancer care. She has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the White House Champions of Change Award and the European Society for Medical Oncology Award.
A passionate educator and mentor, Dr. Partridge has trained and inspired a generation of oncologists and researchers. She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and on advisory committees for the National Cancer Institute and other organizations. Through her leadership in clinical research, survivorship advocacy, and mentorship, Dr. Ann H. Partridge continues to transform the care of young women with breast cancer worldwide.
