Dr. Anna C. Pavlick

Dr. Anna C. Pavlick, DO, MBA, is a nationally recognized leader in cutaneous oncology and melanoma treatment, serving as a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork‑Presbyterian. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and holds a Master of Science in Human Anatomy from Fairleigh Dickinson University, as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School. She completed an internal medicine residency at UMDNJ and fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Pavlick is also the founding Director of the Cutaneous Oncology Program. In her clinical practice, she provides expert care for melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, ocular melanoma, and rare solid tumors, with both in-person and telehealth appointments available.

Dr. Pavlick’s research program emphasizes targeted therapies, combination approaches, and immunotherapy in the treatment of skin cancers. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and presented extensively at international conferences on topics including oncolytic viruses, checkpoint inhibitors, and strategies for treating advanced melanoma and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. Her work includes outcomes research focused on quality of life and the management of neurofibromatosis-associated malignancies. She also holds editorial roles with prestigious journals and participates in major oncology societies, such as ASCO, AACR, the Society for Melanoma Research, the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer, and ESMO.

Beyond her clinical and research achievements, Dr. Pavlick is renowned for her leadership in education and program development. She oversees clinical trials, mentors fellows and junior faculty, and contributes to institutional committees and tumor boards. Her insights are frequently shared at professional forums and workshops, influencing the evolving standards of care for skin cancer. Through her clinical expertise, research contributions, and dedication to multidisciplinary collaboration, Dr. Pavlick is considered a top expert in melanoma and cutaneous oncology.
