Dr. David K. Gaffney, MD, PhD, is a leading radiation oncologist recognized for his expertise in the treatment of gynecologic and breast malignancies. He currently serves as Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and is a senior physician at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where he co-leads the Gynecologic Cancer Center. Dr. Gaffney earned both his MD and PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Utah. He is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and is widely regarded for advancing multidisciplinary care and innovative treatment strategies for women’s cancers.
