Dr. David M. Nanus, MD, is a prominent figure in genitourinary oncology and serves as Chief of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is also the Associate Director for Clinical Services at the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center and holds the Mark W. Pasmantier Professorship of Hematology and Oncology in Medicine. Dr. Nanus received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed his residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in medical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, he provides comprehensive care for patients with prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers, offering both in-person and telehealth consultations.
Internationally recognized for his contributions to translational cancer research, Dr. Nanus focuses on understanding the molecular and genetic mechanisms of tumor progression and therapy resistance in genitourinary malignancies.
