Dr. Edward S. Kim, MD, is a nationally regarded thoracic oncology expert and physician-leader currently serving as Physician-in-Chief at City of Hope Orange County and Vice Physician-in-Chief at City of Hope National Medical Center. He is also the Construction Industries Alliance City of Hope Orange County Physician-in-Chief Chair. Dr. Kim received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center, and pursued fellowship training in medical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, providing cutting-edge care for patients with lung cancer and head and neck malignancies across Southern California.
Dr. Kim is widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to precision oncology and biomarker-driven clinical trials.
