Dr. Frank Cackowski, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist and medical oncologist specializing in genitourinary cancers, with a particular focus on prostate cancer and tumor biology. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. Dr. Cackowski earned his medical degree and PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Michigan, where he also completed his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Cackowski’s research investigates the bone microenvironment in metastatic prostate cancer, aiming to understand how tumor cells interact with bone to promote metastasis and treatment resistance.
