Dr. Jim C. Hu, MD, MPH, is an internationally recognized urologic oncologist and a pioneer in minimally invasive and robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer. He serves as the Ronald P. Lynch Professor of Urologic Oncology and Director of the LeFrak Center for Robotic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he also leads initiatives in clinical research and patient safety. Dr. Hu earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency in urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He later pursued fellowship training in urologic oncology and robotic surgery at City of Hope National Medical Center. Dr. Hu is a prolific physician-scientist whose research focuses on improving outcomes in prostate cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
