Dr. Kevin J. Cullen, MD, is a nationally recognized medical oncologist specializing in head and neck cancers. He serves as Professor of Medicine and Director of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he has been a driving force in cancer research and clinical care innovation. Dr. Cullen earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, followed by residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in medical oncology at Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and is widely regarded for his leadership in advancing translational research and community-focused cancer care.
Dr. Cullen’s research has focused on the biology and treatment of head and neck cancers, particularly investigating molecular pathways of resistance and the integration of novel therapies into standard care.
