Dr. Krishnansu S. Tewari

Dr. Krishnansu S. Tewari, MD, is a widely respected gynecologic oncologist known for his groundbreaking work in the treatment of advanced and recurrent cervical and ovarian cancers. He serves as Professor and Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, where he also holds the endowed Philip J. DiSaia Chair. Dr. Tewari received his medical degree and completed his residency and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at UC Irvine, remaining deeply committed to advancing cancer care through both clinical excellence and pioneering research. Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Gynecologic Oncology, he is regarded as a leading authority in the management of gynecologic malignancies.

Dr. Tewari is internationally recognized for leading practice-changing clinical trials, including the landmark GOG-0240 study that led to the FDA approval of bevacizumab in combination with chemotherapy for metastatic cervical cancer.
