Dr. Michael G. Wayne, DO, is a nationally recognized surgical oncologist specializing in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He serves as Director of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Wayne earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at Cabrini Medical Center in New York. He went on to complete fellowship training in hepatobiliary surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center, with additional focused training in pancreatic and biliary disease at Cabrini Medical Center.
