Dr. Nabil P. Rizk

Dr. Nabil P. Rizk, MD, is a thoracic surgical oncologist specializing in the management of lung, esophageal, and mediastinal cancers. He serves as Chair of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health and is a leading figure at the John Theurer Cancer Center, where he directs complex surgical care for patients with thoracic malignancies. Dr. Rizk earned his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed residency training in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia. Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian, he was a faculty member at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he helped develop clinical and academic programs in thoracic oncology.

Dr. Rizk is known for his expertise in both traditional and minimally invasive thoracic procedures, including robotic-assisted lung resections, esophagectomies, and mediastinal tumor excisions.
