Dr. Raja M. Flores

Dr. Raja M. Flores, MD, is a nationally acclaimed thoracic surgeon known for his expertise in lung cancer, mesothelioma, and minimally invasive thoracic surgery. He is Chair of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and holds the Steven and Ann Ames Professorship in Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Flores earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed his general surgery training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and pursued a thoracic oncology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
