Dr. Theodore S. Lawrence, MD, PhD, is an internationally recognized radiation oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies. He serves as Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center, where he also holds the Isadore Lampe Collegiate Professorship in Radiation Oncology. Dr. Lawrence earned his medical degree and PhD in cell biology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and is board-certified in Radiation Oncology. He is widely regarded for his leadership in advancing chemoradiation strategies and translational research in gastrointestinal cancers.
