Dr. Victor E. Velculescu, MD, PhD, is a nationally recognized cancer researcher and physician-scientist specializing in cancer genomics and molecular oncology. He serves as Co-Director of the Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics Program at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and is a Professor of Oncology and Pathology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Velculescu earned his medical degree and PhD in human genetics from Johns Hopkins University and completed his residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is widely regarded for his pioneering contributions to cancer genomics.
