Dr. Michael Hwang, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in the care of patients with head and neck cancer. He serves as a physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Commack and Memorial Sloan Kettering Nassau, where he delivers expert cancer care to the central and eastern Long Island community. Dr. Hwang completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Cornell University and earned his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and his fellowship in medical oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
