This study looks at how to access and distribute unlicensed cryopreserved cord blood units for patients of all ages with blood disorders. The main goal is to see how well patients recover after receiving these cord blood units. Doctors want to learn about recovery rates and any possible issues after the transplant.
The trial's ID number is NCT01351545. It is a Phase 2 study, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and its safety. The study is regulated by the FDA and aims to include about 100,000 participants.
