About this trial
This study looks at how well toripalimab works with two chemotherapy drugs, cisplatin and gemcitabine, for patients with recurrent nasopharyngeal cancer. The goal is to see how effective this treatment is in helping control the cancer. It includes patients with both types of nasopharyngeal cancer, whether linked to the Epstein-Barr virus or not.

Who can join
The trial is for both men and women aged 12 and older. To join, participants must have a confirmed diagnosis of recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal cancer. They should not have received prior treatment for their cancer in this setting. The trial team will confirm who is eligible before enrolling anyone.

What happens in the study
Participants will receive a combination of toripalimab, cisplatin, and gemcitabine. This treatment starts with all three medicines together, followed by toripalimab alone after the initial phase. If needed, cisplatin can be replaced with carboplatin from the second cycle onward. Treatments are given through an IV on specific days every three weeks.
