About this trial
This study looks at the long-term safety of a medicine called asciminib for patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) who have already participated in another study. It aims to provide continued treatment for those who benefited from asciminib and cannot access it outside this study. The goal is to ensure ongoing support for patients who need it most.
The trial's ID number is NCT04877522. It is a Phase 4 study, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and its safety in the long term. This study is FDA-regulated and aims to include about 347 participants.
Who can join
People aged 7 to 100 years can join the study. It is open to both men and women who have chronic myelogenous leukemia or acute lymphoblastic leukemia and have been treated with asciminib or similar medicines in a previous study. Some people cannot join, like those who are pregnant or nursing, and those who had problems with the previous treatment.
