About this trial
This study looks at blood samples from cancer patients and those who may have cancer. Researchers want to find new markers in the blood that can help with diagnosis, treatment choices, and understanding how well treatments are working. These markers might also help predict outcomes after therapy.
The trial's ID number is NCT00349830. This is an observational study, meaning researchers will observe outcomes without assigning treatments. It is not regulated by the FDA for drugs or devices. The trial hopes to include about 2,000 participants.
Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can join. This includes anyone diagnosed with cancer or suspected of having cancer. Healthy volunteers, like friends and family of cancer patients, can also participate. The trial team will check who is eligible.

What happens in the study
Participants will have a blood draw to collect samples. These samples will be taken before, during, and after cancer treatments. The goal is to find new markers that indicate how the disease is responding to treatment.
