About this trial
This trial looks at two ways to treat people with high-risk chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). One group gets treatment right away with two medicines called venetoclax and obinutuzumab. The other group waits to start treatment until they show symptoms. The goal is to see if starting treatment early helps patients live longer and have better health outcomes.
The trial's ID number is NCT04269902. It is a Phase 3 study, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and how safe it is. The trial is FDA-regulated and hopes to include around 247 participants.
Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can join if they have been diagnosed with CLL or SLL within the last 18 months. They should have a specific score that shows their cancer is high-risk. The trial is open to both men and women. The trial team will check if participants meet all the criteria before they join.
