About this trial

This study looks at how new 3D technology can help surgeons during head and neck surgeries. Researchers will use an app called Scaniverse to create 3D images of participants' heads and necks before surgery. They want to see if these 3D images, combined with regular imaging scans, can help surgeons perform better during operations.

Who can join

Adults aged 18 and older can join this study. It is for those scheduled to have head and neck surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Participants need to be having standard imaging tests, like ultrasounds or CT scans. Those who have had previous head and neck surgery or radiation, or have certain health conditions, may not be eligible. The trial team will confirm who can participate.

What happens in the study

Participants will undergo head and neck surgery as planned. They will receive standard imaging tests, like ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI, or PET scans, before their surgery. The researchers will also create 3D images using the Scaniverse app during these imaging sessions to assist the surgeons.
