This study looks at how two medicines, atezolizumab and sacituzumab govitecan, work together to help prevent cancer from coming back in patients with triple negative breast cancer. The goal is to see if this combination is effective for patients who still have some cancer after treatment. Participants will receive treatment for 18 weeks and be followed for three years to monitor their progress.
The trial's ID number is NCT04434040. It is a Phase 2 study, which means it is testing how well the treatment works and how safe it is. The FDA regulates this study, and about 40 participants are expected to join.
Who can join
This trial is open to men and women aged 18 and older. To join, participants must have confirmed residual breast cancer after receiving chemotherapy. They should also have specific test results related to hormone receptors and HER2 status. Additionally, participants need to show evidence of cancer DNA in their blood after their initial treatments. The trial team will confirm who can join.
