Who can join
Patients aged 18 and older can join if they are receiving or have received treatment or imaging with an MR-Linac. All genders are welcome. Some people may not be eligible due to MRI-related issues, like pregnancy or certain medical implants. The trial team will confirm who can participate.
What happens during the trial
Participants will receive radiation therapy using the MR-Linac system. They will be grouped based on their type of cancer, which may include brain, lung, breast, prostate, and several others. Everyone will get the same treatment, and the study will track their progress over time.
The trial team
The trial is led by UMC Utrecht, with contributions from many respected institutions, including M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The main investigator is Professor Helena M Verkooijen from Universitair Medical Centre Utrecht.

The trial started on February 1, 2019, and is currently recruiting new participants. It is expected to finish by August 1, 2030.
