About this trial
This trial looks at two chemotherapy treatments for patients with early stage Hodgkin lymphoma. The goal is to see which treatment works better based on how patients respond after two cycles of treatment. Doctors will use a special scan to guide further treatment. Participants will be followed for at least five years after treatment to see how they do.
The trial's ID number is NCT04685616. This is a Phase 3 trial, which means it is looking at how well the treatments work and how safe they are. About 1,042 people are expected to join this trial. It is regulated by the FDA.
Who can join
Patients aged 16 to 69 years can join. Both men and women are welcome. To be eligible, patients must have confirmed Hodgkin lymphoma and cannot have had previous treatment for it. Some other health conditions may also prevent someone from joining. The trial team will check each patient's eligibility before they can participate.
Condition
Hodgkin Lymphoma
The study team makes the final call on eligibility.
What happens in the study
Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group will receive ABVD chemotherapy, and the other will receive A2VD chemotherapy. Both groups will have scans to help decide the next steps in treatment. Everyone will receive either chemotherapy or involved site radiotherapy based on their response.
