About this trial
This study looks at how voice recordings can help monitor side effects in people with non-Hodgkin lymphoma or multiple myeloma who are receiving CAR T-cell therapy. Researchers want to see if tracking voice changes and doing nervous system assessments can help identify a condition called immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome. They will check how many people join and complete the study.
The trial's ID number is NCT07249528. This is an observational study, which means researchers are looking at how things happen in real life, not testing a new treatment. The study is not regulated by the FDA. They hope to include about 20 participants.
Who can join
This study is open to adults aged 18 and older, both men and women, who have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma or multiple myeloma. Participants should be scheduled to receive specific CAR T-cell treatments. They need to own a smartphone and be able to do voice recordings and assessments. People with certain speech or hearing issues may not be eligible. The study team will confirm who can join.
Conditions
Non-hodgkin Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma
Age group
Adult, Older adult
The study team makes the final call on eligibility.
What happens in the study
Participants will be asked to record their voice twice a day for 10 days after starting treatment. They will also do daily assessments to check their nervous system. This includes tests for any potential side effects. All participants are in the same group, focusing on those with non-Hodgkin lymphoma or multiple myeloma.
