About this trial
This study looks at how well a new medicine called opevesostat works compared to other treatments for men with advanced prostate cancer that has not responded to hormone therapy. The goal is to see if opevesostat can help people live longer. Participants must have already been treated with certain other therapies before joining the study.
This is a Phase 3 trial, meaning it is looking at how well the treatment works and how safe it is. The study is regulated by the FDA and aims to include about 1,310 participants.
Who can join
Men and women can join if they are adults or older adults with a specific type of prostate cancer. They should have had previous treatments that have not worked well. The study team will check to make sure each person meets the criteria to join.
Condition

The study team makes the final call on eligibility.
What happens in the study
Participants will be divided into two groups by chance. One group will take opevesostat along with other medicines. The other group will receive one of the existing treatments, either abiraterone or enzalutamide. Everyone will take their assigned treatment until their condition progresses.
