About this trial
This trial is studying how the measurement of ctDNA can help choose the best treatment for patients with advanced melanoma. The main goal is to see if this approach can lead to better long-term outcomes. The study looks at combining ipilimumab with nivolumab and relatlimab, which are common treatments for this type of cancer. The hope is to improve how doctors select therapies for their patients based on the presence of ctDNA.
The trial's ID number is NCT07504796. It is in Phase 4, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and its safety. The trial aims to include about 90 participants. It involves FDA-regulated drugs and devices.
Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can join this trial. It is open to men and women with advanced melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery. Participants must be starting a first-line therapy and have specific test results showing detectable ctDNA. The trial team will confirm eligibility before enrollment.

What happens in the study
Participants will be placed in different groups based on their ctDNA levels. Some will receive standard treatment with nivolumab and relatlimab. Others may switch to ipilimumab if their ctDNA levels are rising or if they show signs of progression. Everyone will receive regular monitoring and treatments every few weeks.
