About this trial
This study looks at two devices used for eye scans called optical coherence tomography (OCT). OCT is a gentle way to take pictures of the back of the eye using light. Doctors use these pictures to find and keep track of different types of eye tumors. The main goal is to see which device does a better job in this process.
The trial's ID number is NCT07449195. This study is not in a specific phase for FDA regulation. About 60 people are expected to join.
Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can join if they have at least one eye with a tumor. They should be able to see the imaging target and sit still for about two minutes. Some conditions may prevent participation, but the trial team will confirm who can join.
Age group
Adult, Older adult
The study team makes the final call on eligibility.
What happens in the study
Participants will have at least one eye with a tumor. They will have their eyes scanned using two different devices: the Intalight Dream OCT, which is newer and faster, and the Heidelberg Spectralis OCT, which is the current standard method. Everyone in this study will receive both types of scans without being put into different groups.
