About this trial
This trial looks at people with lung cancer, specifically those with Stage I. It collects information from participants before their surgery, then again 2 to 4 weeks after surgery, and finally 6 months after surgery. The goal is to learn more about how well surgery works for these patients.
This study's ID number is NCT06424327. It is not testing a drug or device that is regulated by the FDA. The trial hopes to include about 600 participants.
Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can join this study. It is open to men and women. People who are currently receiving treatment for lung cancer or have had lung cancer in the last 5 years cannot participate. The trial team will confirm who is eligible.

What happens in the study
Participants will fill out questionnaires about their health. Everyone in the study will be having a type of surgery called pulmonary segmentectomy for lung cancer. Their experiences will be recorded using a system that measures how they feel and their health after surgery.
