About this trial
This study looks at how radiation therapy can help people who have had surgery for oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma. The goal is to see if limiting radiation to certain areas can reduce side effects. Researchers will also check if this approach affects the chance of the cancer coming back and how it impacts quality of life through questionnaires.
The trial's ID number is NCT06485778. This is a Phase 2 study, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and how safe it is. It is FDA-regulated, and the trial aims to include around 24 participants.
Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can participate. This includes men and women. They should have had surgery to remove all visible cancer without signs of remaining disease. Some specific medical conditions might prevent participation, but the trial team will confirm who is eligible.
