Offering New Hope for Patients with Advanced Stomach Cancer
NCT06487221 · RecruitingThis study is looking at how well two medicines, avutometinib and defactinib, can help people with advanced diffuse stomach cancer. The main goal is to see if this combination can help people live longer and reduce tumor size. The study focuses on patients whose cancer has spread and who have already received chemotherapy but whose cancer is still growing.

Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can join this study. Both men and women are welcome. Participants must have a specific type of stomach cancer and have had prior treatments. The trial team will confirm who can join based on further details.
What happens during the trial
Participants will receive two medicines: avutometinib and defactinib. They will take avutometinib twice a week and defactinib twice a day for three weeks, followed by a week of rest. Everyone in the study will receive these treatments together, as there is only one group for this trial.
