About this trial
This study looks at how well the medicine PF-06821497, combined with enzalutamide, works for men with advanced prostate cancer. The goal is to see if this combination is more effective than using enzalutamide alone. This research involves men who have not received certain previous treatments for their cancer. It is designed to help improve options for treating metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, or mCRPC.
This is a Phase 3 trial, meaning it is looking at how well the treatment works and its safety. It is regulated by the FDA and aims to include around 900 participants.
Who can join
This trial is open to men ages 18 and older who have been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. To join, they should not have had specific treatments for their cancer before. Some health conditions, like certain heart problems or a history of serious illness, may prevent someone from participating. The trial team will check to see if each person is eligible.
