Reducing Bladder Cancer: Comparing New and Standard Treatments for Patients
NCT06929286 · RecruitingThis study is looking at how well different approved drug treatments work for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). It will compare a new drug called nadofaragene firadenovec to the usual treatments that doctors recommend. These usual treatments include gemcitabine, with or without docetaxel, mitomycin, re-treatment with BCG, or pembrolizumab. The goal is to find out which treatment is more effective.

Who can join
Men and women aged 21 and older can join if they have high-grade NMIBC and their doctor thinks previous treatments have not worked well. Participants should not be planning to have surgery to remove the bladder or be in another clinical trial for NMIBC. The trial team will confirm who is eligible.
What happens during the trial
Participants will be placed in one of two groups randomly. One group will receive nadofaragene firadenovec, a new treatment given through the bladder every three months for up to a year. The other group will receive the best usual care, which includes a standard treatment of gemcitabine and docetaxel given through the bladder. Everyone in the study will receive treatment.
