Reducing Bladder Cancer Symptoms with New Treatment Combinations
NCT07129993 · RecruitingThis clinical trial is looking at two different treatment combinations for patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma, which is a type of bladder cancer. Doctors will compare the effects of Datopotamab Deruxtecan combined with carboplatin or cisplatin against gemcitabine with carboplatin or cisplatin. The goal is to learn how well these treatments work and their safety after patients have had other treatments.

Who can join
Adults who are 18 years or older can join this trial. Participants should have a confirmed diagnosis of locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma. Some specific health conditions or prior treatments might affect eligibility, but the trial team will confirm who can participate.
What happens during the trial
Participants will be placed into different groups by chance. Some will receive Datopotamab Deruxtecan with either carboplatin or cisplatin, while others will receive gemcitabine with the same platinum drugs. The study has two parts: the first part will test different doses, and the second part will use the best dose found in the first part.
