About this trial

This study looks at using a type of radiation called Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) for people with breast cancer. The goal is to find out if SBRT can help treat a single area where the cancer has worsened while participants continue their usual drug treatment. This combination may help keep the cancer from spreading or worsening in other areas.

The trial's ID number is NCT05534438. It is a Phase 2 study, meaning they are looking at how well the treatment works and how safe it is. About 46 people are expected to join this trial. This study involves a regulated medical device, but not a regulated drug.

Who can join

Adults aged 18 and older can join. This includes both men and women with a confirmed diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer. Participants should have had a good response to treatment for at least six months. Those who are pregnant or have certain serious health issues cannot take part. The trial team will confirm who is eligible before joining.

What happens in the study

Participants will receive SBRT, aimed at the specific area where the cancer has progressed. They will continue their regular drug treatment during this time, although it will be paused on the days they receive radiation. Everyone in the study will get the treatment; there are no different groups.
