About this trial
This study looks at how well a combination of four medicines works for adults with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. The main goal is to see if adding bortezomib to the usual three-drug treatment can help patients live longer and keep the cancer from coming back. The trial compares the effects of this four-drug combination to a standard three-drug combination.
The trial is identified by NCT04566328. It is a Phase 3 trial, which means it is looking closely at how well the treatments work and their safety. The study is regulated by the FDA, and it aims to include about 1,450 participants.
