Studying New Treatments for Advanced Thyroid Cancer That Doesn't Respond to Standard Care
NCT03099356 · RecruitingThis study is looking at how well Cyclophosphamide and Sirolimus work for treating metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer. This type of cancer has spread and does not respond to standard treatments. Participants will take these medicines for 28-day cycles and will be monitored closely for how well the treatment works and any side effects.

Who can join
You can join if you are at least 18 years old and have a type of thyroid cancer that has spread. You should not have had certain treatments recently and need to be willing to follow the study rules. The trial is open to all genders. The trial team will confirm if you meet all the requirements.
What happens during the trial
Everyone in the trial will receive both Cyclophosphamide and Sirolimus. Sirolimus will be taken daily for 28 days, while Cyclophosphamide will be taken for 5 days at the start of two different weeks within that cycle. There are no random groups in this study; everyone receives the same treatment.
