Supporting New Treatment Options for Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer Patients

It compares a combination of atebimetinib with a modified version of gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel to the standard version of these treatments. Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older can join if they have been diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma within 12 weeks before starting the study. They should not have received any previous treatment for cancer and must have measurable disease. The trial is open to all genders. The team will confirm who is eligible to participate.
What happens during the trial
Participants will be randomly placed into two groups. One group will receive atebimetinib along with modified gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel. The other group will receive the standard gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel. Treatment will include oral tablets and intravenous infusions.
