Targeting Improved Outcomes for Colorectal Cancer After Surgery and Treatment

NCT07227636 · Recruiting
About this trial

This study looks at whether using botensilimab and balstilimab together, followed by balstilimab alone, helps people with certain types of colorectal cancer. The focus is on those who have some cancer left after surgery and chemotherapy. Researchers want to see how well this combination works for patients with microsatellite stable colorectal cancer or liver metastases after standard treatments.

Who can join

Adults aged 18 and older can join the trial. It is open to both men and women. Participants must have confirmed colorectal cancer and must have had surgery and chemotherapy. People with certain health conditions or treatments in the past few weeks may not be eligible. The trial team will confirm who can take part.

What happens during the trial

Participants will be placed into different groups by chance. Everyone in the first two groups will receive the combination of botensilimab and balstilimab. After that, they will continue with balstilimab alone for additional cycles. In the last two groups, participants will receive either the combination of the two medicines or a placebo, which is a substance without active medicine. This is done to compare the effects of the treatments.
