This important study looks at a new way to treat Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). It tests a combination of three medicines: azacitidine, venetoclax, and tagraxofusp. The goal is to see if this combination can safely help control leftover leukemia cells that may not be visible. By doing so, the study hopes to reduce the chance that the leukemia comes back.
The trial's ID number is NCT07148180. This is a Phase 1/2 study, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and how safe it is. The study is regulated by the FDA and aims to include about 31 participants.
Who can join
Men and women aged 18 and older can join this study. Participants must have a known diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia and be in a certain health status. They should not have had certain previous treatments or other specific health conditions. The trial team will check to confirm if someone is eligible to participate.
The study team makes the final call on eligibility.
What happens in the study
Everyone in the study will receive the combination of the three medicines. There are two groups: one will find the best dose of the medicines, while the other will use that dose for treatment. Participants will have regular visits and tests, including blood tests and scans, to monitor their health and the effects of the treatment.
