About this trial
This trial looks at whether adding a medicine called carboplatin to cabazitaxel, a standard chemotherapy, can help people with prostate cancer that continues to grow even when testosterone levels are very low and has spread to other parts of the body. Carboplatin works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. The goal is to see if this combination treatment can improve outcomes for patients.
The trial ID is NCT06470243. It is a Phase 3 trial, which means it is looking at the effectiveness and safety of the treatment. It is FDA-regulated and aims to include about 528 participants.
