Dr. Christopher J. Forlenza

Dr. Christopher J. Forlenza, MD, is a pediatric hematologic oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he specializes in the care of children and young adults with blood cancers, including leukemias and lymphomas. He has particular expertise in the treatment of relapsed Hodgkin lymphoma and also cares for patients with histiocytic disorders, including Langerhans cell histiocytosis. A dedicated member of the MSK Kids team, Dr. Forlenza brings both clinical depth and a collaborative spirit to his work, approaching each patient and family with transparency and a commitment to navigating the treatment journey together.

Dr. Forlenza is actively engaged in research aimed at developing novel therapies and treatment approaches for patients with lymphoma, with a focus on improving outcomes while minimizing long-term side effects. He serves as MSK's institutional Principal Investigator for the Children's Oncology Group, the nation's largest collaborative clinical research organization dedicated to childhood cancers. Through this role, he helps connect his patients to cutting-edge clinical trials and emerging therapies, ensuring that advances in cancer treatment are accessible to the young patients in his care.
