Dr. Eunice S. Wang, MD, is a nationally recognized hematologic oncologist and physician-scientist who serves as Chief of the Leukemia Service at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and Professor of Oncology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She received her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, completed her residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, and pursued fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Board-certified in both hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Wang offers advanced, patient-centered care for individuals with acute leukemias, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and other complex blood cancers.
Dr. Wang is widely known for her pioneering work in translational leukemia research and for leading early-phase and investigator-initiated clinical trials. Her research explores novel targeted therapies, immune-based treatments, and the biology of the leukemia microenvironment, with a strong focus on drug resistance and disease relapse.
