Dr. Julie M. Vose, MD, MBA, is an internationally recognized hematologist-oncologist specializing in lymphoma, leukemia, and hematopoietic cell transplantation. She serves as the Neumann M. and Mildred E. Harris Professor and Chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), where she previously served as Dean of the College of Medicine. Dr. Vose earned her medical degree from UNMC, completed residency training in internal medicine at the same institution, and pursued fellowship training in hematology/oncology at UNMC. She later earned an MBA from the University of Nebraska. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Vose’s research has focused on developing novel therapies for lymphoma and advancing bone marrow and stem cell transplantation techniques. She has been principal investigator on numerous clinical trials that have shaped modern lymphoma care, including studies of CAR T-cell therapy, monoclonal antibodies, and targeted therapies. She has published extensively in top-tier journals and has contributed to national and international treatment guidelines for hematologic malignancies.
A past president of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Dr. Vose has been recognized globally for her leadership in cancer research, education, and health policy. She has mentored countless physicians and scientists and has been a strong advocate for advancing cancer care delivery in academic and community settings alike. Through her scientific innovation and leadership, Dr. Julie Vose continues to shape the field of hematologic oncology.
