Dr. Myron E. Schwartz, MD, is a nationally recognized surgical oncologist specializing in hepatobiliary and liver transplant surgery. He serves as Director of Liver Surgery at the Mount Sinai Health System and holds the Henry Kaufmann Professorship in Clinical Hepatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency in general surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He has dedicated his career to advancing liver cancer treatment and has played a pivotal role in shaping one of the country’s leading centers for liver surgery and transplantation.

Dr. Schwartz is known for his expertise in the surgical management of hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and metastatic liver tumors.
