Dr. Wajeeha Razaq

Dr. Wajeeha Razaq, MD, is a well-regarded medical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal and breast cancers. She serves as Division Chief of Hematology and Oncology at West Virginia University Cancer Institute and is a Professor of Medicine at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Razaq earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University in Pakistan, completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut, and pursued fellowship training in hematology and oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology and is respected for her expertise in patient-centered cancer care and clinical leadership.

Dr. Razaq has been actively involved in advancing cancer treatment through clinical trials and translational research. Her work focuses on developing effective therapies for gastrointestinal malignancies and expanding access to clinical research for patients in underserved regions.
