About this trial
This study looks at how Prednisone may protect the liver in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma during radiation therapy. Participants will take Prednisone for three days before starting the radiation and continue taking it during the first part of the treatment. The goal is to see if this helps reduce liver inflammation.
The trial's ID number is NCT05901519. It is a Phase 2 trial, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and how safe it is. The study plans to include about 20 participants, and it involves a drug that is regulated by the FDA.
