About this trial
This trial looks at how adding radiation therapy to the usual treatment with atezolizumab affects patients with extensive stage small cell lung cancer. The main goal is to see if combining these treatments can help keep the cancer from growing or spreading. Participants have already received chemotherapy and atezolizumab before joining this trial. The researchers are comparing the effects of adding radiation therapy to atezolizumab against the use of atezolizumab alone.
The trial's ID number is NCT04402788. It is a Phase II/III trial, which means it is looking at how well the treatment works and its safety. This trial is regulated by the FDA and aims to include about 138 participants.

Adults aged 18 and older can join this trial. It is open to men and women with extensive stage small cell lung cancer who have had a positive response to previous treatment. Some health criteria must be met, such as certain blood count levels. The trial team will confirm if you are eligible.
