About this trial
This study looks at how well a drug called G-CSF helps patients with a type of brain cancer called MGMT-methylated glioblastoma. The goal is to see if G-CSF can protect brain health and improve thinking skills after patients receive standard treatment with chemotherapy and radiation. Researchers want to understand how this treatment affects brain structure and overall brain function.
The trial's ID is NCT06649851. This is a Phase 2 study, which means it aims to see how well the treatment works and how safe it is. The FDA regulates this trial, and it plans to include about 60 participants.
Who can join
Adults aged 18 and older with newly diagnosed glioblastoma can participate. They must have a specific type of tumor confirmed by tests. People with certain serious health issues or who are pregnant can not join. The study team will check to make sure each person meets the requirements to participate.
