This trial is looking at how well two methods work for screening liver cancer in patients with cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B. One method uses ultrasound and a blood test called AFP. The other method uses a different blood test called GALAD. The goal is to see which method better helps find liver cancer at an early stage and reduces late-stage cases over time.

Who can join
Adults aged 18 to 85 with cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B can join. They need to be evaluated by a doctor to ensure they qualify. Some people may not be able to join, including those with certain health conditions or a history of other cancers. The trial team will confirm who is eligible.

What happens in the study
Participants will be placed into two groups by chance. One group will have regular ultrasound screenings, with or without the AFP blood test. The other group will have the GALAD blood test every six months. This will continue for several years, and follow-up tests will be offered based on their assigned group.
